It might be some musicians from the group, but not the whole group itself as the late Dawda Gassama wasn't a member of Super Diamono. He went on playing with Youssou N'Dour & Le Super Etoile De Dakar in their first records.
Listening again this mysterious recording, I note that the band has an instrumental formation, which corresponds to that used in Afro-Cuban rhythms. Coincidentally in the Fary album booklet, I read, first came CAD, with Cheikh Diagne, Bassirou Diagne, and Baylo Diagne ... It seems that Omar's career has always fluid between Diagne's.
